Voids is a new body of work by Evan and Stacey that portrays the human experience found in childhood memories, difficult conversations, and social relationships. Taken out of context, the objects in these narrative structures are reoriented to create open-ended parables. These narratives, left to interpretation, present ideas surrounding relationships with families, individuals, and ourselves as both interconnected and isolating. Not limited to the objects themselves, Voids uses both metonymy and metaphysics to explore these themes. In these works, Evan and Stacey are continuing a journey of self-discovery while providing anecdotes they have experienced along the way.
