NEAR:FAR explores the relationship between proximity and connection in urban life. Inspired by the golden hour’s light and shadow on a city façade, this work represents the transition as day turns to night. The illuminated yellow windows symbolize the warmth of rooms where life is unfolding, while the cool blue windows signify spaces awaiting their inhabitants.
These 6"x6"x2" panels are made from wood with recessed mortar lines in the brick facade. The window frame was 3d printed and the window itself is clear acrylic over a painted background. Each piece is fitted with one side of a french cleat and will come with the wall cleat.
Let us know if we may add the piece's new home to our map to connect your piece with the rest of the works.
